My Happy Little Farm

A gentle farm where crops grow in minutes, pets wait with gifts and every delivery hides a small math lesson.

About the game

My Happy Little Farm is a gentle farming game made for children aged 5–10. Kids plant six kinds of crops, keep pets fed and clean, decorate a small home and fill orders for animal customers — while the farmer character does all the running. Every delivery ends with a small math puzzle matched to the child's age, and coins, stars and pet gifts feed a 14-entry collection book. It is free to play with no ads and no in-game purchases, and progress stays on the device.

  • A math puzzle at every delivery: correct answers add a star, and every order can be skipped
  • Pets with hunger, cleanliness and fun meters that pay out gifts for the collection book
  • Home decoration with five wall colors and nine furniture pieces, from a potted plant to a TV
  • Grown-up settings behind a multiplication gate: daily time limits, learning reports and puzzle difficulty

How to play

Play starts in the garden: buy seeds in the shop, tap a plot and the farmer walks over to plant, then water the plot and wait out the growth clock — water spinach is ready in 15 seconds. Tap ripe plots to harvest, then either sell the crop in the barn at market price or hold it for the orders sheet, where animal customers pay one and a half times market price for a complete order. Each delivery asks a small math question; a right answer earns a star on top of the payment. Coins buy more seeds, pets and extra plots, stars buy the unicorn and special home items, and the Book keeps every discovery.

Tips & strategies

  1. 1.Orders beat the barn: five water spinach sell for 10 coins at market but pay 15 as a completed order, so hold crops whenever an order wants them.
  2. 2.Answer the delivery puzzle instead of skipping — a correct answer adds a star, and stars are the only currency the unicorn, fish tank and piano accept.
  3. 3.Water spinach is the workhorse crop: ready in 15 seconds, two units per seed, 2 coins each. Keep a plot or two of it growing at all times.
  4. 4.Read mixed orders before planting: one customer asks for 2 carrots plus 5 spinach, and carrots take twice as long to grow — plant those seeds first.
  5. 5.Tap the gift icon when your pet offers one — gifts unlock the Gifts from pets section of the collection book.
  6. 6.In the grown-up settings you can cap daily play at 10 to 45 minutes and switch puzzle difficulty from automatic to a fixed age if the questions jump too far ahead.

Frequently asked questions

Is My Happy Little Farm free to play?

Yes — completely. The developer lists it as free with no ads, no in-game purchases and no account, and our test confirmed the full game plays right on this page. Donations to the author on itch.io are optional.

Is this the same game as Happy Little Farm on Steam?

No. My Happy Little Farm is a gentle educational game for young children by developer npanh89, listed on itch.io. Happy Little Farm on Steam is a different game by other authors and is not made for kids — only the name phrase is similar. (The in-game title screen reads Happy Little Farm without "My", but it is the same game listed here.)

Does the game save progress?

Yes. Progress is stored on the device and the game continues where your child left off. The grown-up settings panel can also generate a backup code to move progress to another device.

What ages is My Happy Little Farm for?

The game targets ages 5 to 10. Children pick their age when starting, and the market puzzles adapt — at age 7 our test saw adding and subtracting within 100 plus the 2 and 5 times tables.

What languages does the game support?

English and Vietnamese, switchable any time. Crop, pet and customer names always show both languages — water spinach pairs with rau muống — and grown-up settings include a Learn Vietnamese words toggle.
