Draw Crash Race

If your drawing holds together, you win.

About the game

Draw Crash Race is a free car drawing game where the body you sketch becomes a drivable physics racer. Enclose the rider, hit RACE, and hold down the throttle against five bot-built rivals on elevated tracks where one bad joint means losing a wheel. Every finish pays out coins by position, and the shop turns those coins into durability, ink and speed upgrades for the next, nastier course.

Game features

  • Draw the car body with freehand strokes on a gridded board, and an ink meter caps the length of every sketch
  • Two wheels and a ragdoll rider come pre-fitted, so a closed capsule drawn around the seat keeps the driver inside the car
  • Races pit your creation against five named bot rivals, with live position, km/h and a crash counter on the HUD
  • Crashes flip and shatter your cart mid-race without ending it — the skull counter just tallies them
  • Finish payouts scale with position: first place paid 80 coins in our test, fifth paid 10
  • Three upgrade tracks — durability, ink and speed — add 5% per level with prices that climb as you buy (ink went from 12 to 26 coins between levels 1 and 2)
  • You start with 100 coins, enough for two upgrades before your first race

How to play

Each level opens on a gridded drawing board with two wheels and a ragdoll rider already in place. Drag the mouse to sketch the body in one or a few strokes — an ink meter caps how much you can draw, and closed shapes keep the rider inside where he belongs. Tap the car, hit RACE, then hold W or the up arrow to accelerate and steer with A and D or the arrow keys. Crashes flip your cart and dent your position but never end the race. Finish positions pay coins — 80 for a win down to 10 for fifth in our run — and the shop under the board converts them into durability, ink and speed upgrades for the next course.

Tips & strategies

  1. 1.Draw one closed capsule around the seat, not an open line — in our testing an open chassis left the rider sitting on the track at the start
  2. 2.Spend the starting 100 coins right away: ink is the cheapest buy at 12 coins, speed is 25, and both make the early levels easier
  3. 3.Hold the throttle from the start; the bots are slow off the line and first place pays 80 coins versus 10 for fifth
  4. 4.Don't fear crashes — a first-place run in our testing logged two skull-counter crashes, so flips cost seconds, not the race
  5. 5.If the cart tips over on every curve, redraw a shorter, narrower body instead of grinding retries
  6. 6.Watch the ink meter while drawing; running out mid-loop leaves you racing half a car

Troubleshooting

The game is a Unity WebGL build, so the first load can take a while on slower connections — let the loading bar finish rather than refreshing mid-download. A black canvas usually means an aggressive ad blocker or disabled hardware acceleration. Between attempts you may see a full-screen ad with a countdown; wait for the Continue button instead of reloading, or the attempt restarts. Missing sound is normally the browser's autoplay policy — click once inside the game.

Frequently asked questions

Is Draw Crash Race free to play?

Yes. It runs free in your browser on this page with no download or account. A short full-screen ad with a countdown can appear between attempts, which is what supports the developer.

Why does my car keep falling apart?

Overcomplicated sketches shed parts on impact, and open lines drop the rider at the first bump. Keep the body to one closed loop and put upgrade points into durability.

Does my progress save?

Yes. Your level, coins and purchased upgrades persist in this browser, so coming back later picks up where you left off.

Can I play on a phone or tablet?

Yes. You draw with a finger and drive with on-screen touch buttons; the keyboard overlay only shows on desktop.

Is this the same as Draw Crash Race: Stunt Race?

Essentially yes — Stunt Race is the same Andrey Melnikov game as named on Yandex Games. Similarly titled mobile apps are separate listings.

How do I earn more coins?

Race payouts scale with finishing position, and you start with a 100-coin balance. Spend them on the durability, ink and speed cards under the drawing board.
