Last Broadcast: Operation Resonance
Cross a city under siege from its own broadcast, rescue Lea, and silence HELIOS before dawn.
About the game
Last Broadcast: Operation Resonance is a 16-bit pixel-art action shooter that plays free in your browser. HELIOS has seized Vesper's broadcast tower and taken Lea, the engineer who built the only counterphase key, and it falls on former rescue operative Mark Sokol to cross the city and cut the signal before dawn. Seven missions lead from the harbor to the top of the tower, each ending in its own boss fight, with an animated story carrying you from the opening to the final broadcast.

- An animated opening, interludes and ending, with original synthesized music
- Four languages — English, Russian, Spanish and German — switchable in game alongside the resolution
How to play
Mark Sokol moves with A/D or the arrow keys; W climbs, S crouches or descends, Space jumps, J fires and E interacts. Q switches between the weapons you have collected, H heals, and Esc pauses. Each of the seven missions sends you through a multi-level route toward its boss chamber — fight through, explore side paths for supplies and checkpoints, and reach the exit. Between routes, animated interludes carry the story of Lea and the HELIOS signal. The final mission ends at the broadcast tower, where the last boss takes three phases to bring down. Language and resolution can be changed from inside the game.
Tips & strategies
- 1.Put H to work before your health bar forces the issue — healing has its own key, so there is no menu dive mid-fight.
- 2.Switch weapons with Q to match the room. Four weapon types exist for a reason, and what clears a harbor corridor may not suit a boss chamber.
- 3.Treat side paths as supply runs. The routes are multi-level, and exploring vertically often turns up supplies and a checkpoint before the boss door.
- 4.Bank your strongest weapon for the boss chamber at the end of each route; the final tower boss alone takes three phases to bring down.
- 5.If English is not your language, open the in-game settings before the first mission — Russian, Spanish and German sit there beside the resolution options.

Frequently asked questions
Is Last Broadcast: Operation Resonance free to play?
Yes. The developer hosts the complete game free on itch.io — all seven missions play right in your browser, no download or account needed.
How long is the game?
It is a seven-mission campaign. Each mission is a route that ends in its own boss chamber, and the final boss in the broadcast tower is fought through three phases.
What happens when I die?
Checkpoints are placed along each mission route, so a defeat sends you back to the last checkpoint rather than restarting the whole mission.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes — the developer lists touch controls for mobile alongside the full keyboard layout on desktop.
What languages does it support?
English, Russian, Spanish and German. Both language and resolution can be changed from inside the game.
Can I play it offline?
The official itch.io page offers a downloadable offline zip for local play. Here the full game streams in your browser with nothing to install.
